Operations Administrator

  • Title: Operations Administrator

  • Purpose: To provide the necessary operational and administrative support to help guide our ministry initiatives to see people growing as responsible followers of Jesus, stewards, family members, and disciple-makers.

  • Description: This is a full-time position that involves working five days a week including Sundays, and working remotely during the week with flexibility and availability during normal business hours. The only person on staff that is not a pastor. Time will be split between working from behind a computer and directly with people.

  • Reports to: Lead Pastor


  • Collective Church is a non-denominational, regionally-focused church community that launched Sunday gatherings in the fall of 2015 on the Westside of Los Angeles. By any standard we are a healthy church community with very high levels of engagement and a particular emphasis on community, mission, and discipleship.


  • We are looking for a highly organized and process-minded individual to join our team to work in the area of operations to keep things moving forward.

  • The ideal candidate is a follower of Jesus, mature in their faith, lives a life submitted to scripture, and has a heart for the church. They should be ready to take on significant responsibility, enjoy working with people, and proficient at getting things done. They have to be comfortable with living in the city, and specifically on the Westside.


  • Working with our Team Members, Team Leaders, Coordinators, and Admins, to ensure that our ministry efforts are sufficiently supported, faithfully executed, and aligned with the mission and vision, DNA, and philosophy of ministry of Collective Church.

    • Website maintenance

    • Coordinating events

    • Central communications

    • Conducting research

    • Global calendar management

    • Inventory management and ordering

    • Other duties as assigned


  • A Mission Member (or willing to be) at Collective Church.

  • Meet the qualifications of a deacon, as described in scripture.

  • Alignment with the theological beliefs and philosophy of ministry of Collective Church.

  • Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and a warm and welcoming demeanor.

  • Resourceful, able to foresee challenges, and offer solutions.

  • Previous experience leading teams

  • Skilled delegator

  • Higher than average writing skills

  • Familiarity with a variety of tech platforms including Apple products and operating systems, G Suite, Asana, CCB, Squarespace, and basic IT functions a plus.

  • Previous success in managing projects to completion, logistics, administrative assistance, etc.
