Discuss
What is family? Take some time to talk through what it means to be family. How do you treat each other? Do you forgive? Protect? Etc.
What does God’s family look like? Take some time to compare the items you discussed about family in the previous question. How do they relate? Maybe even pick a person out who isn’t in your blood family, but feels like family. How do you treat that person? What would you do for them?
What about other people who believe in Jesus? Are they are family? How should we treat them?
How does God bring us into his family? What do we have to do to be a part of God’s family?
The words/concepts below were touched on in the video and text that your child(ren) heard but may not fully understand. We encourage you to discuss them.

FAMILY HUNT: Hide the letters of F-A-M-I-L-Y around the room and tell them to go find the FAMILY!! Once they are all found, put their FAMILY letters in order on a poster board and write words about GOD's FAMILY around the poster board or a word for each of the F-A-M-I-L-Y letters.
