LORENZO SMITH - LEAD PASTOR

Lorenzo desires to see the church reclaim its biblical identity as a gospel-made family. He believes it would have a transformative effect on the way we follow Jesus together and how we represent Jesus, His kingdom, and His church in Los Angeles.

Originally from Canada, Lorenzo has been ministering in Southern California for over two decades and has been an Angeleno since 2009. He believes his calling to serve Jesus in this city is something that's been in the making his entire life, despite the fact that he didn't come to faith until he was an adult.

Prior to planting Collective Church, Lorenzo gained extensive ministry experience in pastoral and administrative church leadership. He played an instrumental role in starting a church in the late 90’s, managed the affiliation process for a global church network while serving as an assistant pastor for many years, and also served as an Executive Pastor.

Lorenzo and his wife Isabelle have been married since 2005 and have two daughters.
